ISSUE DESCRIPTION
Description of the issue:
Superchargers engaging manually above 10000 ft causes the MP indicators to go back to 0. When above 10000 ft and engaging the SC manually, the MP indicators drop back to 0.
FREQUENCY OF ISSUE
How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?
Always.
REPRODUCTION STEPS
Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:
-
Fly above 10000 ft.
-
Engage the superchargers manually.
-
Observe: MP indicators go back to 0.
YOUR SETTINGS
If the issue still occurs with no mods and add-ons, please continue to report your issue. If not, please move this post to the User Support Hub.
Reproduced by multiple people with different hardware — issue appears independent of the specific PC setup/peripherals.

wow i was thinking to buy this plane ! To many bugs i thing …
Engaging the superchargers (even with the normal procedure of pre-reducing RPM and throttle before doing so), just bug up the whole aircraft and lead to hidden single engine failure, the Manifold Pressure goes haywire on one engine, and the plane produces unexplained continuous thrust on the ground. Big bug
Bumping this — it’s been about three weeks since this was posted and there’s still no acknowledgment from the dev team. This is a real systems bug, not a cosmetic one: manifold pressure indicators dropping to zero when manually engaging the superchargers above 10,000ft makes it genuinely hard to manage engine power correctly at altitude. I’d like to know if this has been reproduced on your end and whether there’s any rough timeline for a fix — happy to send a repro clip if it’d help.
Also worth repeating: the MSFS2020 version of this aircraft had already been part of MSFS2024 from launch, before an announced overhaul intended to bring it up to current standards and improve it. What actually shipped, though, was more bugs than before, with the real gains mostly limited to GPS, autopilot, and a couple of smaller extras. Given how uneven the overall rework has been, I’d really hope this specific report gets some genuine attention and gets resolved soon.
Totally agree - needs a fix
For an aircraft whose claim to fame is flying over the Himalayas at twenty thousand feet or higher, to release a product like this that can’t be used above ten is just embarrassing. Had this problem happen to me on a Buffalo flight the other night. Even after shutting down/feathering the engine it was still producing thrust somehow.
