C172 Classic/IFD - Elevator is not moving

I don’t like the G1000 (tbh I even don’t like that “Garminfication” all over the sim at all, everywhere you get G1000, G3000 or G5000, also in addons…) and I really want to use the IFD avionics. So there is no way around the analog C172 in the sim.

And as this bug was introduced with SU5 and SU5.1 is meant as a service fix to fix problems that came with SU5, I really see no reason why this problem was left out of 5.1. But on the other side, there are so many similar issues that are ignored by Asobo and persist over so many updates… like the chocks of the A400M, the problem with hardware axis for the mixture lever in the Dakota… Shall I continue this list of shame?

Discovered this today on a career flight in the IFD equipped 172. I noticed that I could not move the elevator on the pre flight. From the cockpit the elevator does not move when you move the control column. (The ailerons move as normal). Spent a bit of time wondering if it was safe to fly, but it flew the mission in the end.
