C172 flies fine -- ( bad Graphics setting causing Microstutters)

My Mistake … Buffeting was actually Micro stutters on my Video … I had a very wrong setting for my video card. Now up at 45 FPS, its silky smooth ( with no wind)

I am Overjoyed !!

What a mind boggling post. I just love it when people that have zero experience say something is or is not realistic.
I don’t care how many videos you watch or how much you played X-Plane, that is not experience and to say that only gamers would want the winds and turbulence that many of us fly in every day is, um, rather odd.

I have to agree with the OP. I have significant turbulence all the time, even with 3 mph wind. It needs to be tweaked

To be blunt. If you think X-plane or “videos” have it correct, you’re the one who doesn’t know what the correct level should be.

To be blunter, the level of buffeting and turbulence in the sim is quite correct.

Sure you do. That’s must be why you base your false point on videos that are filmed by cameras affixed to the airframe.

On the other hand, the buffeting seen in Microsoft Flight Simulator is mostly camera shake, with the camera view based on the virtual head of a pilot which is not affixed to the airframe. The actual effect of the buffeting on the airframe itself is minimal in comparison.

If I had a cent for anyone claiming to have gazillions of real flight hours to give more solidity to their speculation, I’d be able to buy every add-on released for the sim so far and likely have plenty of buffer.

Incidentally, key developers do have plenty of flight hours IN REAL LIFE, so your claim to know better than them is ludicrous.

We all make mistakes. Not to worry, glad you’ve had your issue resolved. I’ll be closing this thread now, if any further issues arise feel free to PM me and I’ll open it back up for your input!
