Anyone else having issues with call sign not changing? I have tried over 2 dozen times to set a call sign in the aircraft selection menu and ATC never recognizes the changed call sign and just uses the generic ac call sign once in the game. I can change the tail number and ATC will add that but no matter what I change the call sign to, it does to not get recognized.
Just trying to figure out if this is a bug or am I just crazy or stupid?? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
What call sign did you give it? I tried Bravo and it worked. When using callsigns you may also need a flight number.
I have tried many combos, even simple words like dog I saw someone on the forums who posted they use a call sign Covid with a tail number 19 and ATC recognizes it. I tried that and nothing. It picked up the 19 for the tail number but not the changed call.
Add a flight number too, then it will work.
Than you very much for the tip, adding the flight number worked! I saw numerous post about changing your call sign but none mentioned making sure a flight number was also entered.

Dumb question, so how do you change the call sign/flight number? I am flying the 320 NEO and was trying to figure this out.
Does it reset when you exit MSFS? Mine does and it reverts to the default callsign and number, which starts to get annoying after the 100th time 
You can edit the default call sign and flight number in the aircraft.cfg file
I found the issue. I was just being a newbie flight simmer. It is in the aircraft menu.
