I have all kinds of trouble with the latest I’m on the previous one

I tried 511.23 and have the same fps issue drop on long flights that I had on previous drivers.
So I did a clean install of 457.30, and it was much worse for the same issue.
So I’m back on 513.23.
Personally I can’t see any benefit of the older drivers, so I cautiously move forward with each new release.
The problems I am experiencing with fps drops will be fixed in the sim and not the driver I expect.
I am using 472.12 I tried twice to go to the latest and had problems each time. This is the first time I have ever had to use an outdated driver for anything.
1080ti owner here…Im back on 457.30 after trying the latest 511.xx builds.
Just because I wanted to experiment and sure enough huge FPS boost for MSFS and across all other titles I run in VR compared ro later drivers. I’m sticking with 457.30 for now
1080Ti on board here and I just uploaded 511.23 drivers. Seems great to me
some experience with latest 511.72? I have terrible fps last days and don’t know why. So I’ll trying find out why. For example - KMCO 7fps with disabled all mods 
and hungry background app’s killed and nothing. Maybe something new in settings that’s killing our 1080s?
This sim is GPU not CPU limited, but it could be the drivers.
I’m on a 1070, I get 30-40 FPS steadily even with lots of addons running.
How much ram are you running?
I’ve tried and tested everything from 457.30.
I don’t know what it is about 457.30 and my system but it gives the best night and day performance out of everything for me, not only in MSFS but other PC titles.(VR injected GTAV and Resident Evil 3)
I’m on a 1080ti/8700k 32GB RAM and I’m outperforming lots of newer hardware configs in VR easily with 457.30.
To the point I can even run this scenery in VR smoothly on very high settings which is an absolute tax on all hardware especially in VR.
If you only use MSFS and no other games, I think 457.30 is the best driver for your card, 457.30 was the latest driver that was optimized for the 10 and 20 series cards, all newer drivers are optimized for the 30 series of cards.

I’ve found it! It was Microsoft security feature - core isolation. It takes over 60% of FPS. Anyway I’m on 32g ram with i7 6700.
