Can anyone share experiences of MSFS with 50 Mbps (or slower) Internet speed?

Hello everyone, as per the topic title, I’m looking to get feedback from people who have tried MSFS 2024 on 50 Mbps or slower Internet? While my 50 Mbps meets recommended spec, some of the feedback on the forum suggests faster Internet is required for a sharp and smooth experience. This video in particular also had me worried https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/aw3sSqUKKF4 - Granted it is London so a very demanding area, but 50 Mbps really didn’t seem to be enough.

I’m based on South Africa and faster Internet speeds would be very expensive here. I also checked ping to the nearest Azure server and this is anywhere between 25 and 60 ms.

For a bit of background, I haven’t been simming for about 1.5 years and want to get back into it. I was previously a game pass user but it now makes more sense to purchase outright. The current sale price of 2020 is very tempting right now, and if my Internet sounds a bit slow for 2024 then I’ll probably stick with 2020.

I’m running it with max. 43 MBit (german Telekom) VDSL.
MSFS 2024 is running great, and I only discover loading issues flying low and fast. Then the ground gets blurry and the objects and terrain loads too slow.
Flying in Helicopters, GA-Planes and Airliners is really fun.
No issues with TLOD400 and OLOD even quite high.

What doesn’t work is flying very fast planes quite low above the terrain.

Moved to User Support Hub that is more appropriate based on the question.

I have fS20 and often get under 50MBPS, no issues, but I do have a cache of 150GB.
