Yeah I know, for IFR you need to create another flight plan before you taxi and take off to an other airport.
Have you tried to load the flight plan from EFB after the load state?

Take a look at FLIGHTSAVE24 V3 on simmarket works perfect with pmdg
Does this keeps the aircraft condition (passengers weight, cargo, fuel left) ?
How about with the Fenix aircraft? Somehow itās hard to believe all those steps you had to do to prepare the plane for flight and program the MCDU would be far too complex to recreate a point on a flight.
Works perfectly with pmdg and fslabs 319.lenardo as well .not tested inibuilds 350 but may work other inibuilds no go. Fenix no go I they have not bothered to incorporate a panel save system. Other planes success will vary.
Thank you very much. I will be trying this on the PC tomorrow.![]()
Did you by any chance try FStarter24 as well? I would like to know what the difference is?
No I have not looks good was reading up last night not sure it can autosave if it can I may purchase
I have it, i think last time i tried it didnt work anymore? flightsave24 (su4 .18) FCR looked promising but no saving of loaded flight plans etc
Does fsstarter save avionics states?
I am sorry I did not yet get the chance to try either programs! I will report back when I do, which could be a while.
Flightsave24 hasnt worked for me in some time (mostly throws an error about data is the specific issue i mentioned before, just updating here), might work on previous saved spots if you get lucky or crash, tested the other night) and looks like fsstarter is made by the same dev.. theres been no update to flightsave24 that i can see in quite a while
Bump. Is there any reason why this standard feature for any PC game is not available???
Cmon Microsoft
If I was being charitable, I would say itās because like FS2020, FS2024 is so advanced that features that were perfectly possible in FS2004 and FSX are now impossible due to the complex coding, which is why you canāt have anything such as a ready made landing scenario or a discovery fli⦠oh, hang on⦠![]()
The existence of such ready made scenarios proves itās perfectly possible to have a saved state with everything you need, and Asobo have made the deliberate choice not to allow us to do it.
Itās there somehow. You have to record your flight for 10 seconds using that flight recorder tool you can find in the menu in the top of your screen and then if you want to continue you have to start a new flight on the same airport with the same aircraft and hit the replay button in the flight recorder tool. It should bring your aircaft to the same state as recorded and also spawn you to the correct location in air. inibuilds A350 has also a good working autosave feature but itās sadly just tied to that specific aircraft of course.
basically none of the current solutions support resuming the flight with the flight plan intact and still loaded etc (avionics state, how bout wear and tear?)?
I guess you could save the flight plan to a file before the flight and reload (pms 750, g1000 etc)?
I cant even get the sim efb to send to avionics the flight plan, only the world map works, but that might be a known issue
How is everyone saving their multi day flights that literally could take a week to do 15 hops? Just the embedded flight record + pln files? Have you found a way to maintain aircraft physical wear state (does fcr do that too)? How bout weather state
Iām in luck. Iām basically always are saving my routes into a .pln file and send them to ATC and avionics before Iām about to takeoff. If you are using the AP it is important to activate it before you hit the replay button in the flight recording tool. It spawns you always to the location where the flight was recorded and the autopilot is also in the same state as it was before. In the DHC-6 300 even the state of the fuel is saved. Same for the A320neo and A321LR. I didnāt tested in on other aircraft but I bet is is working on all default ones the same. This is all in free flight. Career mode is quite a different story. Maybe a future SU will bring a proper saving feature. Maybe it is working in career mode somehow. You actually can load .pln files over the web?
fsstarter/flightsave24 restart flights with the flight plans loaded, so does FCR built in, but the catch is, at least in my testing, the TDS 750 doesnt pick up with the fpl loaded, only the PMS 750 works like this. Anyone else see that ?
Does anyone know of a way to rename the fcr recordings, hard to tell what situation/reply is which otherwise.
Hey guys, I have understood from this topic that saving a flight as FLT file is possible in FS2024, as well as loading it again using the EFB.
I am coming from P3D and have moved to FS2024 this summer. I am looking for a solution where I can fire up FS2024 and it automatically loads a specific FLT file so that the A/C is standing at a specific gate with a specific A/C type and livery already loaded. This would safe all the manual work of defining this on the free flights screen or manually loading the FLT file from there, especially in a home cockpit environment this would be useful.
Does anyone one if that is possible in any way? In P3D it was possible by adding the desired file path and name as a parameter to the Windows Icon that is starting up P3D (in P3D it was in fact an FXML file). I tried this way in FS2024 with FLT file, but after loading FS I remain stuck in the main menu to select free flight and then do all selections. Maybe another parameter is necessary / possible? Thanks!
