Totally annoying. Please let us get rid of this nonsense.
Lately, they spent some time making it look more fancy instead of pausing for a moment to ask themselves “what do our humble and patient users need this for?”. This is very annoying in VR.
Is there any update on this? I thought I read on a development snapshot that they are going to address this but I don’t remember if I’m correct
EDIT: looked at the latest feedback snapshot and it says that it’s “In progress”. Something this trivial can’t be that hard to fix, one would think..
Was it fixed?
This is a joke. Give us the option to get rid of these kind of annoying forced on-screen messages, clutters, they kill immersion.

This gets my vote. Not just while outside the plane, but it’s also there any time I pull up the tablet inside the plane.

Now it is even more obtrusive in SU2. I get it: when I first launched MSFS 2024, it was totally unclear how to get into the cockpit from character mode. However, this is the wrong approach to discoverability and it totally ruins the experience of exploring the digital twin on foot.

These “mistakes” are really baffling. It’s like nobody from dev team actually plays the game in VR or plays it always with 1000 debug windows open and such utterly annoying message from day one is nothing for them and they can’t care less about the users having to put up with this for more than 6 Months.

Yes, please remove. We know the key commands. Or at least make it disappear after three seconds. Or add a toggle to the assistance menu. 
This could be solved by:
• Add an Assistance option to toggle these onscreen tips enabled/disabled (in and out of the cockpit).

I know this comment isn’t helpful, but it’s actually WILD that I asked this in fall of last year and in another month we’ll be back in fall again.

It’s not good for anything. I mostly play in 2D and this prompt annoys me as mach as VR users.
This and buttons/switches turning blue when you point a mouse on them in LOCK control mode.

I’d love to be able to hide the toggle prompts for screen capturing in walk around and other modes where the prompts appear.
If this wish could be implemented then that would be great!
Why cant they just hide it like they do the in sim menu ? Just put a small marker or make ther font smaller and make it more discreet, to the left or right or something. or only activate/ make it visible when you press escape key or pause
In VR I have this prompt in the middle of the screen. Walk-around mode was unusable for me until I figured this neat trick awhile ago: When you’re outside, turn your head drastically to the side and reset the view. After that you can look ahead and the prompt will be beside you, beyond your visibility range. Moving and clicking things is normal, no problems there.
This only works in VR though.
