Can it be that "live" weather is just over a week behind?

I flew today from RJTT to UHWW (Vladivostok) and had some “slight” crosswinds of around 100 knots in that area.
After landing I went back to main menu and could see a lot of exclamation marks around the airports of the japanese islands.

The last weather incident I am aware of with such an amount of wind was taifun “chan-hom” eleven days ago.

I mean, I’m quite used to stormy weather on my world trip. I went northwest from Ushuaia, zig-zagging through the southern pacific area and there have been thunderstorms on nearly every island I landed.

But this, it was spectacular. I experienced the mother of all turbulences.

Any ideas or thoughts?

Exclamation marks mean these are new areas of content. You can display the legend on the world map. This is unrelated to weather.

Oh, I was sure these were related to special attention events. I haven’t had these marks before the winds came ~across~.

They came in with the Japan scenery - hence why in Japan. You also get little “spanners” appearing if you have marketplace purchased scenery (airports etc).

To be fair, 100Kt wind sounds like fun and probably should have an exclamation mark!

To be honest that’s what I thought was the logical conclusion.

Anyway, ~100 kts don’t seem to match any live weather within the last days.

Additional info: SimBrief had calculated FL350 so I assumed there was some weather incident anyway but still…
