As I just fly from Reno to Lake Tahoe with the DH Caribou I realized I forgot to activate Auto Rudder. But in the Assistance Options, I cannot enable it anymore. I need a workaround for this problem. Without Auto Rudder the Caribou is practically not flyable. I need urgent help.
I can only choose easy, medium or hard, but I want the custom option I usually use.
Don’t know why, but now a few minutes later I can use the assistance options again. It’s a miracle.
Good it fixed itself I suppose. Another MSFS mystery.
But why is the Caribou unflyable without auto rudder? Fine and “normal” for me. You playing with gamepad?
I use Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Control and without Auto Rudder she was unflyable.
I still don’t get it - why? What does throttle have to do with rudder? Have you assigned both props to the same throttle lever axis?
No, I used a profile which works fine. I just told you cause you asked if I play with gamepad. Without Auto Rudder flying was impossible. Like there was a wind with 200 knots. The moment I could enable Auto Rudder everything was as before.
