I know people are genuinely trying to be helpful when they say ‘empty the community folder’, or ‘reinstall graphic drivers’, (or even reinstall the whole sim - no for heavens sake!).
The issue IS with MSFS. Look at how many people are affected.
I now have terrible tree LOD that was beautiful before, and pauses (not stuttering) every flight.
In between, I can actually get a fluid 30fps, but it is really spoilt by the above problems.
I am with a few other people. I have spent thousands on MSFS and addons (including new hardware).
I was going to buy the Just Flight Arrow, the T-45 Goshawk, and the Spitfire this weekend. I will not spend any more now, and certainly not from the store. I am just wasting my money.
I will however drop the developers an email to tell them why. Maybe if it hits their sales, they might put some pressure on to get things fixed up.

Feel you! Unfortunately I got the T-45 Goshawk just before the update. Was going for Just sim Arrow but that is not happening now. Feel very hesitant to buy anything in the future because I am not sure what road this sim will take in the long run. For example what will happen when this goes live for xbox and so on

Yes, I disagree that DX12 is causing these issues.
I believe the way P3D implemented DX12 is causing those issues.
Blaming DX12 for excessive Vram usage due to P3D not using any type of memory management, optimisation or tools to tell people what their VRAM Budget is, is like blaming a CPU for overheating without applying cooling to it.
Plus mostly everyone is bound by poor CPU performance, I’d be more than happy to be bound by GPU Performance as at least we can tune down our graphics settings and get a acceptable frame rate.
What are you going on about? I was simply stating I personally have not heard about the issues let alone experienced them since this update. I never once said nobody else was not having issues - I’d re read my comments instead of being angry at the world for what ever reason you can find and taking them out on people on the forum. A large issue is obviously the inconsistency between systems operating the sim. I’ve had my fair share of issues previously, and I’m allowed as much as you are to state I personally have not come across these issues. Have a great day.
