We had this issue at the launch of MSFS 2020. Can we have it so that the simulator loads directly into the main menu after its finishes loading and we do not have to click start?

When I start the sim I see that same screen, with these buttons:
The “Accessibility” button leads to the these windows:

That last screen, the “Accessibility settings” screen is the same one you can get to from the “General Settings/Accesibility” option from the main menu.
The main difference is my second image, which shows the “Accessibility presets” window is not available. I’m not 100% certain that first screen is needed if only the presets are not visible off the main menu. It’s another click through that’s probably superfluous for 99% of users.
Yes, please, this is a must. After you removed the “Press to continue” in 2020 following thousands of complaints, I find it absolutely insulting to us users that you’ve done the same bs again in 2024. Cmon…
I don’t feel insulted, just disappointed that there isn’t a trusted Ux person from the user base that could have ideas bounced off of, or consulted on changes that would improve the experience of us end users.
It’s kind of amazing to me that there is often this disconnect between what MS/Asobo designers see as fine, which within 5 minutes the community rails against quite loudly. What are we seeing that they aren’t?!
This is something I would like to see resolved sooner rather than later. It would be nice to get it on the list and is most definitely something very easy to do
Asobo is the Professional, experienced, game Designer.
They know what is best, so maybe see little need to Consult with the gaming Community about their professional designs.
Unfortunately, when the game is launched, then it becomes a lot more difficult & complex (and costly) to go back and make major fundamental design changes , especially when the original design can be classified as “BY DESIGN”.
That’s a pretty weak take. It’s like saying that Airbus, being a professional and experienced manufacturer, doesn’t need to consult or meet the needs of its potential customers. What you just said makes no sense at all.
