It’s not working properly for me in that it crashed four consecutive times within 2 to 5min after loading sim! So perhaps I should say nothing, just accept it as it is now, after spending x amount of money.
I didn’t state that it doesn’t work for 80% of people, I said perhaps or probably based upon my response to a previous thread whereby someone indicated that the sim is 80% fine, so please don’t put words in my mouth & state it as fact thank you.
Yes, this forum exists based primarily on negativity, the same applies to life like when your boss usually crititizes & highlights your mistakes instead of highlighting the positive majority of your work performance input, output etc. That is perhaps human nature by default,I’m no psychologist or human behavioural expert.
Plus, my pac man game in the 90s loaded & played well without problems.
Lastly, perhaps we wouldnt progress in life unless we highlight our mistakes & fix them.Positivity & negativity is the battery of life my friend, no disrespect whether we agree or disagree.
PS. I love everybody & everybody’s opinion here, peace & love yeah
This thread has ceased to be interesting… as the OP it has become the thing I was complaining about… Im going back to the post on old guys who’ve been sinming since the 80s…
You can and you should say if you’re having problems. But this is not the right thread for discussing problems. So your problems don’t give you the right to hijack this thread.
In general I do not tend to do that, and I didn’t this time either. In fact I quoted you saying exactly that:
Whether that was in response to a previous thread or not wasn’t obvious and is of little consequence because it doesn’t change anything.
As long as you consider yourself part of “us”, it effectively means - in your eyes - it’s not running properly for 80% of people. So please don’t accuse me of putting words in you mouth that were quite obvioulsy already there, thank you
No matter. Case closed.
yeah well … what I wanted to highlight was, that even with a program as primitive as Pac-Man, which was running perfectly. People would still have found something to complain about.
There’s a difference between negativity and criticism.
Negativity is destructive and doesn’t solve problems because it only focusses on what’s wrong and only highlights that, sucking people into downward spiral until they only see the negative.
And when a boss who only highlights your mistakes he is a mor0n: criticism - no matter whether in the workplace or a forum - also should always be constructive, highlighting stuff that’s good AND bad. And if possible providing ideas how to improve it.
It’s all in the delivery:
saying “everything is going to sh*t” is negativity
saying “this could be better, let’s try that” is constructive criticism
Reminder to all, to keep it friendly.
Otherwise i need to get my medieval divices from upstairs again, and i dont feel like walking today. So please be gentle towards eachother.
