Can you buy the upgrade bundle from game pass version?

Hi,

I’m wondering if I can buy the upgrade bundles within the game if you have the GAME PASS version. The prices are obviously better, when I’m trying to purchase it, it doesn’t seem to stop me, but I’m a bit hesitant to try this if this is going to set me back ;).

So my question is:

  • If you buy one of the upgrade versions from within the game, do you then have access to the full game without game pass?

I don’t have answer for this, but I find it funny, that the Premium Deluxe is cheaper than just Premium… Premium Deluxe has it all.

If you buy the Premium Deluxe upgrade in the Marketplace while subscribed to Gamepass you will have access to the extras as normal, however if you stop subscribing to Gamepass you will lose access to the Standard edition and will not be able to continue to play the sim unless you then purchase the base version. You will still own the Premium Deluxe Upgrade but will not be able to play it without the Standard version.

Thank you for the confirmation! I figured as much. Could have been possible, there are plenty of games that (often) give you a discount if you have game pass (i.e. Forza etc).
