Can you focus on core issues not just random sceneries?

I can most certainly play “properly.” So, again, the issue seems to be on your side.

Your irrationally hurt feelings don’t change in any shape or form how game development works. If you don’t like how game development works, I suggest looking for another hobby. Maybe you can try building model kits, even if considering your absolute lack of patience that leads you to endlessly spam this forums with irrational negativity, I doubt that’ll work out.

I guess I don’t think there is anything irrational about expecting to get what I paid for. I’ve already filed written fraud complaints both with the Federal Trade Commission and my state’s Attorney General’s office. I continue to push here in order to express my displeasure to the developer in the hope that they will correct their mistakes.

And if this doesn’t show just how irrational and whiny you are, I don’t know what will. I’m sure the FTC and the Attorney General will have a big fat laugh at your “fraud complaints” about a video game not fitting your ridiculous expectations.

Those seem to be jobs that can use some comedy once in a while, so that’s nice of you to provide it. :joy:

It’s called spam.

I have no offense. I just have one question. During this week, one part of the team has created a whole beautiful Japan. and the second part of the team could not correct the lines of code in order for the joystick sensitivity adjustment menu to work. I do not want to start an argument and make the discussion hot. I also call for a calm conversation. We only express our opinion. I’m sure most people are like me. not offended people. We are just consumers and, according to the law, we have the right to demand a work product for the money we gave. A matter of principle. There are things that we will tolerate, and of course there are a lot of bugs to work on. but banal errors with starting the engine, with a non-working menu, this is too much to fix this for a month!

You seriously think that the team too A WEEK to create a whole beautiful Japan? I certainly hope you’re pulling my leg here.

Japan has likely been in the work for several months with the help of a dedicated external team (Gaya simulations).

Incidentally, core development issues don’t just get solved by throwing X time at it. They’re often interconnected and solution isn’t always easy. The dev update shows that they’re investigating, so obviously it’s in the works. That doesn’t mean they’ll find a solution immediately because you demand so.

You’ve sounded very far from calm for a while now.

You don’t have a slightest idea of how the law works. You’ve been provided the product you paid for. The “law” doesn’t require instantaneous fixes to glitches and issues, real or perceived.

I have already spoken quite sharply and a lot today. I am a very patient person. I really want to believe that the company will take care of its customers. I myself am the owner of an online store and I never allow such an attitude towards customers. I always try to fix all problems as quickly as possible. Also, I always conduct a dialogue with clients about their problems. Unfortunately, on this forum we quarrel with each other, but not a single team member will ever answer here and will not reconcile us, dispelling myths and prejudices. It should be understood that most people are not happy with the problems with this game. We do not want a refund. I want the simulator to fix at least the main mistakes that were made in patch 2. That’s all! Things are good. We have night already. We don’t have to fight over the game. I wish you all the best to all and patience.

It’s pretty amazing that they can get the thing to run at all. The code printed out would probably fill a small house. Having multiple groups designing sections and then integrating them with this few problems is outstanding.
Also consider they have to juggle hundreds of peripherals made by different engineers and programmers.
All that to offer a product that simulates flying anywhere in the world for a hundred bucks. What do we get? This button or that button doesn’t work. Go figure

I’m now talking about the joystick sensitivity menu and not fixing all the avionics of all liners. I think we’re just talking about different things. I don’t require a game out of the box right now. I know that it will be refined for a very long time and a lot. I’m only talking about the mistakes they made in patch 2. There is no need for a global investigation here. It’s a matter of hours.

Oh, now we’re comparing game development of an extremely complex product to “owning an online store.”

Developers are developing. Thank goodness they’re not here to witness and deal with the shrill, spammy negativity from some overly entitled users.

Ok guys. I don’t want to try to argue with everyone here. Each of us has our own opinion and we will keep it. I am happy to have this simulator no matter what. I understand perfectly well that the team has done a great job and continues to work on the program
But I’ll be even happier when they let us know when the fix will be released. I think they just need to give us more information, then we will not have these stupid discussions and speculate and conspiracy theories  Bye everyone!

The developers that create scenery, are not the same that do bug fixing… If you can’t understand that, don’t even bother to bring up these issues.

You do know that people have different skills right? Do you really expect artists and Bing data specialists to work on avionics and such?

That does not appear to matter for some. I get the impression that they would be appeased if Bill Gates said the tea lady and errand boy are also now working on bugs

Maybe @AERSP does in fact know what he is talking about.

Maybe…just maybe…you are the one who is wrong. Ever thought about that?

I’m baffled by what points you are trying to make here.
You seem to be an expert on software development but yet we have a software team developing this game that can’t seem to fix crashes and game breaking bugs very quickly.

Do not propose to be an expert on what goes on at MS/Asobo. Frankly you haven’t a clue.
Neither does anyone else here.

You said it👍

To be fair the joystick sensitivity slider menu has apparently been fixed and should be released with the Japan update. Microsobo just has very poor communication and acknowledgement of the errors and shortcomings.

Maybe they should be because they seem oblivious to all of the bugs and issues the sim is having. Just because someone is copy/pasting the top votes issues doesn’t mean they are communicating those issues to the top developers who would decide on where to allocate work.

Someone has to program that scenery into the sim but mostly yea they don’t deal with the scenery development. They are having to spend some time implementing it though which is taking time away from the bugs and issues they could be fixing. That and their lovely 35 hour work weeks, no wonder they aren’t getting stuff done.

I’m just a bit frustrated that there was no mention of any bug fixes in the last development update, just Japan Japan Japan. I want them to develop world enhancements because eventually most of the world will look gorgeous. But with a product that was clearly not ready for release, I would say that there are more pressing things to work on. I realize there are different development teams working on different aspects of the sim, but to release a scenery enhancement when the sim is plagued by bugs seems grandiose.

Lipstick on a pig, if you will.
