Can you focus on core issues not just random sceneries?

Your comment is the same as me saying you know nothing, just because you’ve announced you’re a developer. Why generalise tech alphas in such a way? Because a few of them disagreed with your view? There are many who are really nice, helpful and know their stuff and who are developers themselves and also qualified pilots. And they know nothing? Really?

One thing is for sure. No real game developer would ever call other developers “lazy.” That’s a prime indication of an angry forum warrior who has never ever talked to a dev.

You don’t even know that fixes need to be tested and certified before being released, and that’s not just a matter of uploading some code on the servers.

Since we have a lot of people pretending to be pilots to add some false authority to their comments, I guess you’re a pretty evident example of pretend game developer. :joy:

No because in 99% of their posts they keep defending MS/Asobo while in many of the situations its absolutely inappropriate. Obviously they are so grateful to have been part of tech alpha that they are willing to forgive everything and silently accept waiting for years to have features implemented that should have been alreaey properly working on release day!
Is it so hard to get that people pay for a fully working product and not for a tech alpha?
Come on… the sim was released with the weather not working properly in most places, the latest patch made the ONLY more or less flyable airliner unusable for most people. And yeah i know you could keep the APU running but that isnt working on every flight! I know because i had it myself several times that suddenly even while the engines AND APU were running all electrionic stuff shut down during taxi and interestingly the only way to get them back was to turn the APU off.
Next… since the last patch a lot of people cant even fly for 10 minutes without the sim closing to desktop without error message!
Since the last patch people cant change their sensitivity settings in the UI.
And we could go on and on and on…
Now if you visit any of the topics its 90% Tech Alpha guys who are trying to justify this mess!
Hey this isn‘t freeware… people paid money for it… they can expect all of the above mentioned to work or at least be adressed immediately!

Oh really? I would never call other developers lazy? Why not if they are? There is no secret developer brotherhood! I call everyone out as what i believe he is.
Guess what i dont only own a company… i‘m also a A320 first officer and i still call some other pilots lazy if they are… unbelievable, right? Haha Believe what you want… i honestly dont care but dont post your false information!

You understand the difference between updates and small hotfixes right? You dont need 2 weeks to test changes to the UI… believe it or not!

I worked in a manufacturing plant once where the manager put his foot down on Quality Control’s neck, and gave them an ultimatum: solve Quality issues faster and within a week of the issue being found, or he’ll cut their budget.

Sure enough, Quality sped up their quality investigations faster and bulldozed solutions as quickly as possible. Wanna know what happened next?

PS: No. there isn’t a “secret developer brotherhood.” There’s a thing called professionalism and respect, which developers tend to exhibit when talking about colleagues, which you don’t have the slightest idea about.

Oh come on… want to see how to fix an issue like sensitivity controls not visible in the UI after the patch.
That is so silly honestly. It is a matter of minutes! Dont believe it? I‚ll gladly show you via Teamviewer on one of our games. This is so ridiculous! You really have no clue.
For such things you dont need 2 weeks to test it. You really think you could play a new Assassins Creed every 2 years if it needed half a month to check if a simple UI fix works?

You’ve not answered my question. In your made up percentage, 99% isn’t 100% so why tarnish 1% by saying they know nothing?

Look at my posts and you’ll see I sit firmly on the side of the fence that is disappointed it was released too early, but respectful and patient enough to wait for the issues to be resolved. I paid £110 for the product also but I, like others can fly my favourite plane (manually at least). However, I’m dismayed so many people can’t install the game. To be a month down the line and people still not able to play it is unforgivable in my book. I’m annoyed with Microsoft, not Asobo because it’s their product, released without a real beta.

But what I don’t do is have a tantrum on these forums like so many people or shout and criticise those who disagree with me. Life is too short to get angry at people, especially those I don’t know, about a computer game.

Please remember Tech Alphas are not allowed to talk about the Alpha (and mythical beta). This forum was no playground back then. People were also angry then as you are now. The difference is, we didn’t blame each other.
