I read that initially you could get a discount on C208 when buying company, but then hear that was changed. What is the current state? Want to know if I should just go ahead and buy the Cargo company with C172.
I’ve received the discount on the 172 and the Xcub. It seems to be whatever the first aircraft you buy is. My 2 cents: Buy the 172, unlock cargo missions, do those (they pay over 100K each and you can use time compression if you desire), you’ll be able to afford a C208 before too long. I’m not positive if the 208 gets the huge discount if it’s the first aircraft you buy, but I suspect it might?
I’ve been wondering this too, it used to be that a Cesna Caravan as a first plane (I.e the heavy discount) was around 175k (seems like the cost it about 10% of the normal cost)
I did missions to save up and I think now they’ve change that and “fixed” it so it doesn’t apply to the Caravan
