Can you reset zoomlevel of the drone cam?

Hello,

I was wondering, can I assign a key command to reset the zoom level of the drone cam with one push of the button?

Because some times when you zoom out again, you go past the begin point, which gives you suboptimal view.

If anyone knows, please let me know.

Greetings,

Unfortunately, I don’t think that there is. This is all I see in the controls settings:

Thanks, that also what I thought. Still I thought I double check on the forum. I thought I read somebody listed it as an upgrade for the future, to add, so perhaps this will be done.

if you hit the 5 key on the numpad it resets all the view including the drone position and the zoom level.

i use old fashioned scroll view so have this set up to return my view to default
“Reset Cockpit View” & “Reset External View” both mapped to the same button
it resets zoom and location to default, so gets me where i can see that mountain im going to die on :stuck_out_tongue:

If you are talking about the command “reset drone roll”, this is not true, as it does not reset the zoom of the drone.

Or are you talking about another key command?

Yes but these commands do not work for the drone camera right?

no but that answer was already given by Killamarshian

Reset Drone Offset → numpad 5 (by default)
the drone has no ‘zoom’ but this will reset you to distance and attitude behind aircraft (default position) and can be assigned to any joystick button or w/e

Yeah I knew that one, thanks. But that is not a good solution for me, because that means, you can reset the zoom level only by resetting behind the plane. And usually that is not handy, as you are somewhere else with your drone.

Thanks though for the information.

I guess the answer is no, that this function perhaps comes in the future, but is not here yet.

Thanks for the input!

I was hoping someone would have an ingenious answer here but out of luck it seems
 :disappointed:
