Hi. I’m using the both the Gear-Falcon FCP 182 and Honeycomb Bravo. I swap when I switch from a 182 to a twin.
(these two below are always connected)
(1) FlightSimBuilder GNS 530 GPS/NAV/COM and (2) Thrustmaster TRP Pendular Rudder
The problem is when I swap throttles, the Windows USB Game Controllers utility mixes up devices. As soon as I set one device in it, it reassigns another device to something incorrect.
I use SPADNext works great
Same here. I leave my Bravo and my VKB STECS throttle connected all the time. No problem in SPAD assigning events to either one, depending on what I’m flying.
I have multiple controllers plugged in at the same time and use a powered, switched USB hub. When I want to fly warbirds, or helicopters, I switch on my STECS throttle and Gladiator stick; when I want to fly a Boeing airliner, I switch those two off and switch on my TM Boeing yoke and throttle, and Winwing PFP7 CDU unit.
This is helpful. So is the problem stemming from leaving MSFS to sort out the changing controllers.
Does Spad require all buttons to be mapped through it? The Bravo has a ton of switches. I watched a demo and it looks like a ton of work.
I’m already up to my ears in configuration. Overall 3:1 in favor of configuration over actual flying.
