Brief description of the issue:

When spawning at a sea plane base at a “ramp” start, the plane spawns with its landing gear down, and they cannot be raised.

Detailed steps to reproduce the issue encountered:

Spawn at the LUDD non-runway start. You will see the landing gear are down, and in fact the plane will start to roll with the wind, regardless of whether the parking brake is set. As soon as it reaches dry land the parking brake will become effective.

Not only water starts but also landing the plane in the water as soon as the plane slows down to almost stopping the gears is lowered automatically and the plane raises on wheels over water like the water is solid. After that you are stuck. You can’t raise gear and can’t take off again on water, you need to beach it and take off on land.

Mine doesn’t do that. It’s possible that there was something weird going on with the gear simvar(s), and got toggled when the plane appeared to be on land, possibly from a hard enough landing that the plane detected solid ground. I’m guessing here, obviously, but I don’t see what you are seeing.
