With the confirmation that this year (2026) will be the final year the Canadair CT-114 Tutor will be seen flying over Canadian skies in a group of 9 I would like to request that it be the next “Local Legend” or similar series aircraft during a Canada based update.
Since 1971 the RCAF Snowbirds have used the aircraft, inspiring thousands of youth (myself included) to join the aviation world in some capacity. With many other trainers on the marketplace already from some very talented dev’s I think it only makes sense to add the Tutors to that list. Out of all the Canadian aircraft that currently are not available in the sim the CT-114 Tutor is arguably one of the most Iconic ones missing. Quite literally a “Local Legend.”
At least that way if we stop seeing them fly in real life we can still experience them in the sim!
