It is simple: This beta has only regressions so far. Performance on xbox is a total disgrace in comparison to SU15.
STOP NOW Asobo before msfs2020 become a disaster like MSFS2024. On Xbox msfs2020 is ok in the current public SU15 build, far from perfect, but far better then all SU16 builds so far. If you can’t fix it don"t break it!!! Please!!!

What is going on with this beta!!! Has it been shelved? No new updates for ages? Gone massively backwards to the point I don’t think anyone is actually using it!

I’m at work now and I read this? I was simming last night msfs 2020 and no update? I guess I’ll see one this afternoon. I sure hope it does not decrease per5formance as I got 2020 working great!

It’s not out yet. This is based on SU16 beta experience.
And it works like a dream in PC
I wouldn’t say cancel it, it runs decently on PC at least, but it does need more time to cook in the oven. In my past experience with betas, things start off well, then get worse, then end up better towards the end. The issue here is we haven’t been seeing any detailed change logs to suggest much has been worked on and then there’s the performance issues with stuttering especially. I hope they can devote the needed time and resources to getting this right.
This SU16 still is beta phase, have zero release target. Why Cancel SU16 ..

SU16 will not be canceled. If there are regressions or bugs in the pre-release test builds that you would like to report, please submit feedback through the appropriate SU16 bug reporting areas of the forum.
