yeah i can see your logic,
i was thinking of most of us in here that use the sim every single day
but we are a very small portion of the overall userbase that probably use the sim sporadically
if all of those are downloading at the same time… i can see a problem

I Tried to cancel my order after downloading the program and nothing is working and I’ve been in the queue for over an hour. the refund area says that i cant get a refund because i purchased the game over 14 days ago. It was only released today 11/19/2024. I had it pre-ordered for a month and it looks like they are using that date to disqualify my return.
Was it an MSStore or Steam purchase?

This is wrong, so wrong. This cannot be allowed. All of us should be able to get a refund. The countdown should have begun at 0800 PST TODAY. Do not let them get away with this bull.

If they fail to delivery a working product, regardless of it being “digital” content and stating ‘no refunds’ then I would think your legal position would be pretty good. I guess they may also depend on the consumer laws in you country/territory.
I am in the US and I will give it about a week to get some answers or a working product. If there is no change I will do what ever it takes to remedy this situation. I am retired and have nothing but time.

While it’s BS you can’t get a refund, it’s not down the drain. The sim will work once the server issues get sorted out. Happens with most releases these days and then it works like nothing happened after a few hours or a day.
I believe you are correct. My main concern is the refund policy. Even if it is only a fourteen day policy from the day it was purchased, the time should begin today. Not when i pre-ordered it or even when they charged my card.
