@NixonRedgrave had a similar issue, where he couldn’t rename his controllers - however, in the new build it looks like controller management has gotten worse.
I also have an issue where it corrupted my list of controllers - randomly not showing any, and sometimes showing {Current_Device} code instead of the controller. And no way to “reset” this section of Settings.
Same, It’s not only external controller, you can’t also change the hardware settings for the mouse (and keyboard, but I don’t remember if it was available before for the keyboard)
Have the same issue after SU4 Beta, I downloaded opentrack software for Tobii eyetracker and was thinking that it’s the software which broke some registry of controllers but as I can see it is a SU4 beta issue… wondering tho if it’s only us or everyone who is on Beta having this issue.
Update: Rolled back to SU3 to check if the settings will be accesable and they were so it’s not an issue caused by my side but definitely by SU4 Beta.
We have created an internal ticket to see if our team already has this logged, and if not they will attempt to reproduce the issue and create a new bug report. This item is now marked as feedback-logged. If there is an existing bug report or one is created, we will move this thread to bug-logged.
I am unable to access Hardware settings for my rudder pedals or my flight stick. I also noticed none of my custom button mapping is not working. For example rotor trim release, I can go back to SU3 no issues.
Same here. Cannot access any of the hardware settings on SU4, MS Store PC version.
Unable to set sensitivity of any hardware (joystick, throttle quadrant, pedals)
I can confirm this bug.
When clicking on Hardware Settings nothing happens. It doesn’t matter whether I want to change the settings for the mouse, keyboard, pedals, yoke, or joystick - Hardware Settings simply doesn’t work
Open hardware settings from the settings icon. Then select “Device input curve override” and click “Tweak action curve” to open curve sensitivity settings. If I remember correctly, this was somehow easier before…
Same here…YBBN - I’m using a Thrustmaster Hotas 4. Can’t access the hardware settings or see my JS in the description. Latest drivers etc checked and loaded. JS works fine in MSFS 2020.
Fudge…..
I can’t find that menu at all. I dumfounded that Asosbo could even attempt to flight this beta with something so fundamental like controller settings not working
