Hi, I have the Steam PC version and the last week has been pure frustration (it was working great the weeks before). Last Monday I got caught up in the “checking for updates” loop and thought I had it fixed with a couple of complete re-downloads. Now, after completely downloading the sim for the sixth time I have the basic game installed but cannot access the marketplace to download all my other purchased content. I am currently at a loss for what to do next. Any help and suggestions what to do next is greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Please confirm “Online Functionality” is turned on in your Options. You can find this setting as shown in the screenshot below:
If this setting is already set to ON, try toggling it off and then back on again (be sure to go back to the main menu to apply the setting change each time you switch it). If that still doesn’t work, please respond to this thread and let me know.

Thanks. Now I can download purchased products but when I reload MSFS I again get caught up in the never ending “checking for updates” loop in the Installation Manager. I am right back to where I was last Monday not being able to load the sim. Where to go from here?
This problem even with an empty community folder.
I have the same problem. I wish Steam and Asobo would get together and solve this problem. I’ m using MSF20 Premium on Steam and Eset as my security
. I’ve tried to recitfy the prblem using the hacks posted. None work for me ! It’s too bad these guys don’t want to have an easy to take my money.my money.
