isn’t world update V the version 1.17.3.0 ?
Simple install first the update and then the WU5 content. May be it’s only a little bug in versioning / message.
The world update is not showing in the MS store for me.

That looks like the sim was updated via the MS store, but it then didn’t do the next update as the sim launches the first time.
@Speedbrake22 When you download the update from the store, did the sim request elevation, the prompt you to download some more updates before the sim launched proper?
I am having the same issue too, but I just found out 1.16.2.0 is not the latest even, the latest is 1.17.3.0… I have no update in the Microsoft Store, and am not getting a single prompt running the Sim either…

Go into the store, and hit the get updates button on the downloads page. It has never appeared to me manually before.
Maybe it’s not live in your region yet? Where are you based?

I was yes. So I went to the xbox insider app and left the preview (I saw I was still in there).
Now it is updating in the store!
I had a similar experience. In all previous updates I have just gone to the MS store and clicked on the get updates button, but this time there was no update. Tried it a few times over the next 15 minutes but nothing.
So I just started the game as normal and then it prompted me with a mandatory update message, when I clicked OK it took me back to the store page but this time with the update option.
it successfully downloaded the 1 GB part from the store, it’s now downloading the 5.25GB part, albeit very slowly at 25Mbps on my 300Mbps connection. Usually much faster than this.
Remember to check “My Content” for further updates, as well as the Marketplace for the Nordics free update as well.
Guess I just need to be patient with it…
