Did you refuel on the ground or while flying? For we the fill up trick worked (doing it on the ground). And I used the key binding for “top-up fuel” (I can say it only in German), not the “repair and refuel” option. Maybe that makes a difference?
@juaneggg I completed my Nevada bush trip yesterday. I used repair and refuel option while I was at the airport, I did it both on the runway and parking/refueling spot. I crashed the plane on a couple of occasions, but in the end after the last leg, I still got my achiement for completing the trip without “get me back”

Lifesaver, got stuck at Tirana. Called the fuel truck but it just hung around behind me. Parked at the pump and couldn’t get it to work either!
I did in the air. That probably made the difference then, thank you. I will give it a shot later on the ground. What is it called on German? I’m German too but have the game in English. Wouldn’t be hard to switch to find it though

For those having issues binding, I had the same at first - only options were “Clear Input Path”, “Cancel”, and “Validate”. Key strokes in this screen were ignored, and it was the same for all of the items, and all of my input devices. There’s supposed to be a little box above those buttons that records your keystrokes - for whatever reason it didn’t appear for me until I restarted MSFS. Hope that helps!
On my installation the search for a binding by name does not work…one more on the list of bugs.
I found it searching the old fashioned way.
In German, it reads…
TREIBSTOFFMENGE HINZUFÜGEN

I thought so too until my engine died in flight. Landed safely but the popup said “You ran out of fuel” or something like that. Of course, that lead me to here!

now I can continue
As the title says…when i start stage 8 of the Patagonian bush trip my plane only has 8% of fuel (the amount which i arrived with). Tried to call a fuel truck (did not come even when i was at the parking area), tried restarting the stage multiple times, even restarted the whole game, tried to crash the plane and restart then…always the same issue.
Anyone else with the same problem and/or a workaround?
Map the refuel/repair command to a key.

Hmm but this command is not supposed to work when you have realistic, uhm…plane behaviour.

Agreed, it’s a cheat. But when the system is broken, it seems the only option.

You are in the “bush”. The proper way is to try to find a local citizen that will give you a ride to a local gas station where you can borrow an old plastic bucket to get some fuel to bring back to the plane. I don’t think the game simulates that yet so you have to use the FUEL menu. Just imagine the ride in the dusty pickup truck while you do it.

Many words, you could have added how to open the “fuel menu”, that would have been helpful. All i found was the request for the fuel truck and as i already said, it did not work.
Yep, map refuel/repair to ctrl+shift+f for instance

I would have told you but you said to a previous post that you would try remapping to a key so it sounded like you knew how to do it.

Or does unlimited fuel in the options work with these challenges?
Actually, over half of the airports used during bush trips, even Nevada one, have fuel at the field. The game does not let you get it properly.

There is a (keyboard) command “Add fuel”. Bind this command to a key combination and you are good to go.
