When I try to load 1.10.8.0 I am informed that I am not connected to the internet, or cannot sign in to xbox live or please insert disk! I have a good internet connection and purchased the download version months ago so what should I now do?

I had the same problem! I don’t have or use xbox. what in the heck is going on?? Asked me to sign in to the Microsoft account first??
Rebooted the computer and this time the checking for updates sent me to the store, and now seems all ok.
What’s crazy is when it first booted i got “press any key”!!
