That is really game breaking, not only cosmetic. Reason for that is that If I am looking around in free camera and by accident I leave my screen center pointing at a dial or button, none of my keybinds work until I move my camera somewhere else - to an empty space (without an active clickspot). The dial on which camera has been pointed at is highlighted in blue and appears to intercept every keybind I press. It would be extremely nice to see console players to be able to revert back to legacy - most of us use keyboard an mouse apart from joypad/joystick anyway, so setup is very similar to PC implementation. Not sure why this limit is imposed on consoles.
