Brief description of the issue:
The program is hanging up on checking for updates and then CTD.

Having not used FS for a few weeks it found the need to install 40th anniversary update. The first time it reached 90% than CTD. Several other tries it hung up on CFU. Removed program and reinstalled. Same thing though it got nowhere near 90%. When first reinstalling, it had 522 files/processes in the update. The next time it had 340. But it got hung up on #1, decompressing A310. Before uninstalling program, tried all fixes including deleting cache, running as administrator, checking updates, reloading gaming services etc.
