Based on the other thread (Hotas One settings disappeared after SU10 update ( Series X ) - #34 by SithMetal71) uninstalling and reinstalling the sim might help on Xbox.
In practice, you don’t really need a lot of functions to get back to flying:
Aileron
Elevator
Rudder
(And their trim commands if applicable, most planes have elevator trim at least)
Throttle (or Throttle 1) axis
Propeller axis (or increase decrease)
Mixture/Condition axis (or increase decrease)
Flap axis (or increase decrease)
Landing gear toggle
Maybe fuel pump and landing light toggles
+Whatever view commands you prefer.
I have a HOTAS with about 10 axes and 80-90 buttons more than what the T-Flight HOTAS has and run individualized built from scratch control profiles for all aircraft I fly, it’s definitely not impossible.
