I don’t believe that, why block that before they fix the refueling problem. Its obvious they want us to refuel, because you can do it in your garage and it cost you money.
FS2024 for first time in 3 days for me is not acting normal. I almost aborted my current flight because something is not right, the sim seems slow.

I’ve tried 200 nm with 11000 ft - 110kts, and the fuel just won’t hold out that long. I’ve found a “add fuel” which adds 25% fuel quantity, so that at least helps with not going over weight or mess with the plane’s situation putting in so much weight at a time.

The simple workaround that I suggest is as follows:
“You add the volume of fuel you want before your flight, you launch your flight and on the parking air you will see 43%, press escape & them the restart bouton and it will take into account the fuel you had put in.”
I hope a fix from game developers soon !

I did that and assigned the add fuel to a keybord 5. It worked before but now it doesn’t work any more. Getting tired of fighting with Asobo every inch of the way. Don’t they test anything?
When first looking at the mission details you get a button to manage aircraft and show efb. Manage aircraft let’s you show fuel and load as some dial looking ui things, you spin the dial to full up fuel then you pay for the new fuel. It should be more obvious in the flow rather than an optional step
That doesn’t work. I’ve added almost full fuel in the Pilatus PC24 in the UI EFB interface and once I launch the flight, I see I only have a little less the 2/3rd’s fuel.
I’ve also seen the amount of fuel in pounds that I’ve added in the EFB UI, and once I get in the aircraft, it never matches what I put in, it’s always less.
This is in career mode.
it’s not via the EFB so I’ll do it now and use the right words
- open a mission by clicking on the icon on the world map.
- you are presented with buttons on the right, [tab] efb and Accept Mission
- Accept mission
- select the aircraft
- you then see your aircraft in your hangar.
- on the right you will see Management, Change Aircraft, [TAB] EFB and Fly
- click Management
- here you see the maintance “tab” there is also fuel and payload and insurance (across the top)
- click Fuel and Payload
- you see a dial on the left for fuel and dial for total mass on the right
- click manage fuel (bottom leftish)
- now click on the blue arrow icon and drag it to where you want it to be
- click refuel at the bottom which shows you how much that top up costs.
- ???

note that you can click on the grey part of the dial as far as the 6 o clock position and the arrow will jump there, however clicking beyond that sets the dial to 0. it’s a bug but I CBA raising it.
in the cessna 172 the 6 o clock position is 100 (freedom units i think, i work in metric) so clicking beyond that with the arrow on the right it goes to 0. draggin the arrow to 120 say, then clicking the 11 o clock position pulls it up to there.
Thank you, I’ll give it a try using your method though I think I’ve done it your way as well, going thru the fuel management interface box… you can set/add fuel, deduct fuel and also within the management box, wash your A/C.
Have you tried a 9, 11 or 12 hour VIP Charter flight mission in career?
I’m running this thru PC by the way… again thanks for your help, I’ll try your step by step method and let you know.
Oh I see, the duration of missions is mad. I don’t know many aircraft that can fly for 12 hours straight
Edit:The pc12 can do 9 hours on average, so dunno where these mission lengths are coming from!
I worked out where the duration comes from
It chooses the slowest aircraft on that company, so vip I can see for the pc12 takes 3 hours but msfs reports mission time of 6 hours, because I have a172, at least that’s what I think it is anyway. But the maths is about right as the pc12 is twice as fast. I’ll try removing the 172 later and see if that fixes it
