Can't buy a product in Marketplace with steam

After klicking on the “Buy and Download” or “Buy” button nothing happens - steam program isn’t showing up. The purchase of the product is still pending.

Detailed steps to reproduce the issue encountered:
Try to buy something.

PC specs and/or peripheral set up if relevant:
Not relevant.

Build Version # when you first started experiencing this issue:
1.25.9.0

You must have the Steam overlay enabled for the marketplace to function.

Hi OldpondGL I’m sorry. What do you mean with Steam overlay enabled? Do you mean the steam program must be open?

EDIT:
Okay, I have found it. Steam overlay is activated. So, that’s not the issue.

Moved to #self-service as this is not a bug (I bought something from the MP on my steam edition a few hours ago)

It WAS the steam overlay - you have to activate it in the games properties too.
