Usually use GSX for refueling and push-back but for the smaller GA aircraft I thought I would use the Sim since it looks a little silly to have a tug doing pushback on small GA aircraft…
So first called for refueling (using Shift + F, as I have mapped) and nothing happened. Then tried ATC and when I click “Ground Services” no option comes for refueling. Have tried this now using default aircraft and at several default airports. Saw an old post (2021) about needing to activate the “refueling” icon on the top menu bar…don’t have a refueling icon…only the “Weight & Balance” icon which has fueling as part of it.
I’m just going to spitball here, so take it for what it’s worth! Is it a small airport that doesn’t have fuel trucks, so you have to taxi to a refueling station? What airport is it and I’ll give it a look when I can, but in the meantime, you might use the drone and just fly around a bit and see if you see a fuel pump station.
Regards
GSX is not installed.
There’s nothing required to activate in drop down menu, weight & balance can be off or on.
Does gsx add an icon to the drop menu?
ATC request fuel is working.
Default KDAL, ramp 50 and ramp 38 with default Barron.
Thanks for the reply. Have to apologize…I did not think to empty my Community Folder (since pushback worked) but now that I have done that refueling works so I just have to find the culprit…in process now.
With the Community Folder empty even the “Shift + F” worked.
Found have to click “Uninstall” in the FSDT Universal Installer and then click “Unlink” for GSX. Even though I did not have GSX started in the flight it was still preventing default fueling…even though it allowed the default pushback.
