Can't connect to game servers on Xbox Series X

Hi! For the past few weeks I’ve had issues with connecting to the game servers on my Xbox Series X. I’ve tried to change internet settings, resetting my router, resetting the xbox and reinstalled the game multiple times to no avail. Specifically I’ve tried a few different DNS servers which didn’t end up working. I’ve tried to wireshark and see if there’s any type of weird packages. I know UPNP is enabled on my router and even tried to manually port forward the required ports. I’m not sure what more to try now.

Any help would be appreciated!

Update: I tried plugging my Xbox directly into the WAN port in the wall and it works! Finally I was able to get something from troubleshooting as I haven’t been able to get any feedback from my previous troubleshooting steps. So this only means it’s somewhere on the router the issue resides. I have a TP-Link Archer AX1500. Must be some settings to be able to fix the issue.

Update 2: After hours and hours of troubleshooting I was finally able to fix the issue! I enabled IPv6 Internet in the advanced settings and did 6to4 Tunnel and clicked connect. I think it has something to do with Xbox’s implementation of their Teredo tunnel being a bit wonky. Hope this helps anyone in the future!

Whew! Thank you so much for posting this suddenly a week or two ago I realized I couldn’t connect to any online services for my games on the Xbox series X everything else was working fine. I even burned the console and my Wi-Fi to the ground and started them brand new, and still could not figure out the issue, your post was the last post I found in trying to solve this problem and it worked out perfectly. Thank you so much for leaving this here and putting the update on there so folks like myself, could see what we might need to do because I was losing my mind. This will probably be my last post here but it’s also my first I created this account just to tell you how much I appreciate it.

It means the world to me that you could get help from the steps that I’ve done! I’ve further solved any issues of this kind myself by getting a IPv6 adress from my ISP but isn’t really necessary, I do have home servers that I want to future proof with IPv6! I hope it helps more people in the future to and I’m glad that you could get it solved!
