Can't find Seagulls or Flamingos in South America! Help!

I can’t seem to find any seagulls or flamingos in the simulator at all the designated spots in Chile and Argentina. Is there a setting that has to be enabled and is there a specific time of the day to view the exotic birds?
The attached screenshot shows the area in January which is the summer and no birds present.

OK, I found them.

  • In the Options settings under Assistance, turn on Fauna Markers under Navigation Aids
  • in World Map turn on Fauna under the Open Filters option.
  • Search for Flamingos & pick a place I went to Lao Argentino set this as my departure point
  • at the beginning of the flight look for the marker showing their location & fly through them. Mine were at about 600 feet.

Great tip; thanks. It took me a while to realize they were flying well above the water the way the POI label is displayed but I eventually found them. Searching for “fauna” will list other animals and locations. Here are
