Can't get past update page

Started the game on my PC on Sunday (non-steam) and went to the latest update page. Been stuck there ever since.
Done the following:

  1. Windows updated.
  2. All drivers updated.
  3. Signed in and out of Microsoft store.
  4. Deleted and reinstalled Xbox app.
  5. Cleaned out community folder.
  6. ran the game as administrator.

Still wont move past the update page. Left it running overnight to see if was going really slow but nothing.

Anybody having similar problems and any other suggestions outside of a fresh install?

Thanks. Tried all those things and a lot more from reading through other threads on here. Looks like I need a fresh install sadly.

I feel the pain, I just re-installed mine yesterday.
First problem I’d had.

Did you try resetting gaming services, using powershell?
That works fairly often.

Yeah I did. Just started the new install so hopefully that fixes things when it eventually gets done. Once again, thanks for the helpful suggestions!
