As a reminder, the new stable version of the A32NX will now appear as a separate aircraft in the sim.
Hello,
I have moved your post to the Third Party Addon Discussion category. Topics like mods are considered “third party” and therefore go in this category.
ok thanks didnt know how to move it
how can I set the thrust lever detents in the EFB in the new stable version?
You don"t. Cause the stable version does not have a custom fly by wire, a custom autopilot or a (most important) custom fadec yet. There’s no need to set the detents.
Well I have to set the detents because they don´t match anymore. In the experimental version everything was fine. So how can I do it? Or I have to wait that the stable version will also offer it and in the meantime I have to use the experimental version?
disregard, the detents cant match because I have the modification of the detents from shapeways…
Please stay on the original topic.
Make sure you manually delete the old version of anything with A32NX or FlyByWire mod folders from your community folder. Clear it out so you can start over fresh from scratch.
Then also make sure you’re running the installer version 1.2.0 or later and use it to do a fresh install of the new stable version.
In the sim. It’s shown as a new standalone aircraft called FlyByWire Simulations A320neo (LEAP). Don’t pick the default A320 anymore.
CTD before menus for any FBW A32NX, Stable, Dev and Experimental WITH LIVERIES/MODS for me. Removed A32NX mods and liveries and MSFS starts with A32NX loaded.
(Yes, even “fixed” and updated FBW A32NX liveries)
But A32NX without any custom livery works?
Did you read the warning from FBW about how some liveries might cause a CTD even after being updated? My guess is you did not.
My guess is you didn’t read my whole post. So, here’s what you missed : “YES EVEN WITH FIXED AND CONVERTED FBW A32NX LIVERIES”
BRUH, I did. You’re misunderstanding is that the CTD’s can occur even with converted liveries.
Converting them is not the solution. Just follow the instructions from FBW.
