Can't move/copy community files into other drives, "your organization diesn't allow..."

Just trying to move my downloaded content to a temporal location to clean all stuff from the community folder and test that way the latest patch. However, when trying to do so, I can’t move/cut or copy anything getting this message:

“your organization doesn’t allow you to place this file here”, as I don’t have permissions. WTH?. Any ideas how to solve this?

You would have to “take ownership” of the folders and contents, and then mess with permissions, all the while not knowing what the consequences of that would be (like breaking the sim.)

It’s a pain as I’d rather like to be able to back my simulator up…

thanks for the reply, however, I already made the “take ownership” trick with no success. I still can’t copy/move files from the community folder once they are there. Any idea?

Have you tried copying them to a folder or drive/folder outside of any Windows 10 locked folders?

When I had the sim first installed into its default location I had that problem too. I then reinstalled it into another location on my dedicated SSD (you can choose the location of the content folders sometime during the installation process) and since then Inhave been able to do there what I want.
