Following on from the disappointing degradation of 2024 performance, I am trying to re-downloading 2020, but there is no bandwidth at all. Network hovering around 30Kbps /s.
So now neither sim works.
Stay on it. I had the same, all of a sudden it started going faster.
I been tracking down an issue I’ve had here recently and over the past few days I’ve re-installed MSFS2020 3 times. Never had speeds as slow as that. Longest download was around 11 hrs for approx 135GB. Perhaps leave it for a bit and try again.

Yea just leave it running. Stopping and reinstalling can only cause a corrupted install.
Sorted now thanks. I forgot how great 20220 was. so much clearer.

So do you mind telling us how you sorted it out?
I’m installing now my MSFS2020 but all I get is 5 to 8 Mbits/sec though my connection is fibre 300 Mbits/sec and waiting does not help, no acceleration. There is now way I can get the sim installed at that speed it gives me now.

I didn’t do anything. The signal improved and it downloaded. Vagaries of the internet I guess. Not had any connection problems since.
