Long story short I’ve had to reinstall MSFS after hotfix 1.11.70 brought it to a standstill and prevented it from launching.
After spending two days trying every conceivable way of getting it running again I bit the bullet and did an uninstall/reinstall.
Despite owning the premium deluxe version I was only given the option in the store of installing the basic version which I did with some misgivings.
Two questions:
Why was I prevented from downloading the premium deluxe when the store quite clearly indicated that I owned it?
And how do I go about upgrading from standard to premium deluxe?
If it means another 24 hour download I think MSFS will be binned for the time being.
