Can't remove chocks

What is the keyboard shortcut to remove chocks because the sim won’t let me remove these manually. there’s gotta be a way that it just lets you taxi, right?

I even tried to do it manually but there’s no clickspot for them, just tire pressure

Having this issue in the A400. No chocks visible in the walkaround, chocks not set on EFB, still can’t move. Incredibly frustrating to spend half an hour setting up a flight only to be unable to move.

this happened to me before with a couple of the planes. even spawning on the runway with engines started. plane will not move

Same, happened to me in the vision jet. Started on the runway and couldn’t move. Had to restart the flight, then it worked.

Same question here…

I had the same problem with the C90GTX.

In outside view, chocks are not visible, if you are too close. The remedy is to move away sufficiently, chocks then do appear and you are then able to remove them.

Bugs, bugs, bugs…

Same problem. How dumb.

The obtuse (but effective) way.

  1. Developer Mode ON
  2. Debug → Aircraft → Covers and Chocks

You can toggle them on/off there.

In outside view, click the mouse wheel once to activate the mouse cursor after scrolling the view to see the chocks. Click on the chocks to remove them.
Then SHIFT+C (If I remember correctly!) to “Take control of character” and enter the cockpit. (This works for Cold and Dark, not sure if it applies on runway with engs running)

This is not working properly. From time to time you cant remove them, pressing what ever you want. Its another bug.

Strange. SHIFT+C works OK for me, but needs The Keyboard 2024 Transversal proifile activated in keyboard controls to make the option available. I’ve also mapped it to a button on my joystick.

Start flight on runway, taxi to the ramp, shutdown then start the intended flight. That’s what I have been doing LOL

I couldn’t click on the chocks on the Optica, no matter how close or at what angle I was to them. That’s why I searched for and found this Developer Mode tip video.

Is that video above only about stuff one can do in developer mode? If so, I will skip it being on Xbox, thanks.

i posted your response as the solution as it’s unfortunately currently the only way to do this. thanks

There are tips that don’t require Developer Mode.
In fact, only one of them does…

i haven’t found a single tip that worked that didn’t require dev mode

Are you talking about the video I linked to?
As far as I can tell, there’s only one (the chocks) that requires Dev Mode.

I couldn’t take the PPL test in Career mode because I couldn’t remove the chocks. I’m on Xbox, so no dev mode for me.

Developer mode is not in my menu…
