Cant select parking stand if loading .pln file in msfs

Brief description of the issue:

Make a FFL in Simbrief. Download FPL. Load FPL in msfs (world map, more…). Try to select a gate/stand. It always puts you on RWY-line.
Walkaround is to select a random spawn point away from the airport. Then go back and select a gate/stand. It then (sometimes) allowes you to start at gate/stand.

Selecting A/C first. Then load FPL in msfs.

This. If you don’t change aircraft, it keeps the setting.
I start from gate cold and dark every day.

I tried to test this and could not reproduce it. I first tested it by loading a generic .PLN file created from the world map and it worked, then I imported a .PLN file from Simbrief and all was normal.

I have it every time I load .pln (from SB) into msfs.
Plan loads fine into msfs; now select parking spot:
Bam! It selects starting position to RWY.

Yep getting the exact same problem here, tried flying out of Toronto pearson CYYZ, select my spot (zoom to details), and it will suggest a departure, but then, as soon as i modify the departure, it will change the parking spot to the relative runway and you cant change back. Tried again from Ottowa CYOW, and again noticed when CHANGING the SID it goes to runway. This is probably why you cant replicate, if you use the suggested/default SID, try changing it

Might be something with letting SB select SID/STAR…? Will have to check…

No problems with selecting gate when I DON’T load a .pln into msfs first.

Yes, you should be able to, mine does. Zoom to details of your departure airport and select your spot. It will not indicate it in the left hand “From” display though, and you will need to reselect a proper departure from the right hand departure one. Hitting “Fly Now” will launch the sim with the correct flight plan and at the selected location.

Maybe stupid question, are you in windowed mode and do you use multiscreen or monitor setup,
If so and this happens see if your windows have not shift so fit them on your monitor and see if you can control again

Nah, fullscreen, 1 monitor.
Managed to get it working now. Changed some settings in SB. Then back again.
Then changed “Force ATC fpl” in msfs, tried ON then OFF then ON again.

No more problems (on this load-in at least).
Think something has changed. Before when trying to select a gate msfs used 2-3sec to ‘think’, before it reverted to RWY-start. Now when selecting gate it goes instantly.

Think we can close this for now…

“Force ATC” doesnt work for me, either on or off. Whenever I load a flight plan from Navigraph or one that I previously created in MSFS, it locks me into “Runway” without the ability to select anything else.

Been working for me just fine last 6months or so
Just select a gate and launch.
Sometimes it still says in the small window RWY06 (whatever), but it actually spawns at gate.

Are you saying you can’t start at a gate?

Not if I load a IFR flight plan. And sometimes when I plan on the world map and then switch to IFR (Low or High). Only when I switch back to GPS I can select a Gate or Parking. But then, when I switch back to IFR, it again locks the selection to the Runway.
