Can't taxi Cessnas from ramp parking or gate

Recently, I am having trouble taxiing the C172 (G1000) and the C208B from any gate or parking position. Increasing the throttle causes the engine sound to increase as expected, and the airspeed indicator even rises and falls with substantial throttle opening and closing. But, visually, the plane is frozen at its original parking spot - it will not move at all. Even the pushback tug will not move it.

I have of course made sure the parking brake is off. I have reloaded flights many times, removing more and more addons from the Community folder. Nothing works.

I know both planes use the WT G1000 and this was updated recently from the Marketplace. Could this be the problem? Is this an SU8 issue?

These planes worked perfectly before.

EDIT: I should have mentioned, I am using Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo, but no pedals. Autorudder setting is on. I checked the Alpha’s control assignments for brakes in the MSFS Options profile. The assigned brake buttons seem to be operating normally.

Check to make sure Toggle Active Pause (on the in-flight toolbar) is not engaged. Toggle Active Pause is also by default mapped to the Pause key on the keyboard.

Thanks @AviatorCSnet . I will check for active pause, but during active pause would ATC communication and movement of the pushback vehicle and ground personnel be working? They still are. The tractor moves and attaches to nose gear but the plane and tractor then do not push back. When pushback stop is requested the tractor moves out of the way. Would all this happen during active pause?

Yes. The cool thing about Active Pause is that the entire world continues while the plane freezes in its current position. I am careful to be in straight and level flight when I use Active Pause because if I am not, the sim will adjust the rate of climb/descent, airspeed, and other factors that can lead to a disaster when Active Pause ends.

I found the problem, @AviatorCSnet . As you suggested, it was Active Pause. But in a very odd way.

I use Smart ILS, which provides a way to look up within the sim the ILS runway frequency for arrival and to enter it quickly into the Nav1 or Nav2 radio. I was entering an airport code that includes the letter “P” in its code into the Smart ILS search box and this was apparently putting MSFS into Active Pause. I discovered in the Smart ILS settings an option to display a virtual keyboard for typing airport codes which avoids conflicts with MSFS key codes, in my case the “P” key for Active Pause.

Thank you for figuring this out. Much appreciated.
