Using MS FS2020 standard. The control system config recognises that I have my Logitech X52 installed but I literally cannot any controls with it. I’m in the very first tutorial trying to move - all the keys work but now the Joystick. Any Idea?

In settings, you must select the x52 as default input, maybe you have the keyboard as default controller option.
This has been reported by a lot of people, me included. Do a search here, and you will find some solutions that may work, although none have worked for me yet.
Nope that’s not it. I have it selected but it looks like I have no mappings setup.
Have just seen. I tried downloading the driver again and restarting but no luck!
OK what has just worked is unplug the X52 and restart the Sim with it unplugged. Then whilst game is on, plug back in and it asks you if you want to use defautls!

I have tried the unplugging, re plugging but so far no luck, recognizes joystick but blank default assignments, unable to assign functions when tried. So sad, cannot really use sim…
Same issue is happening for me. Only when I plug in the joystick after FS starts, FS crashes to desktop. Very irritating that it won’t recognize a peripheral that is recommended. Tried 3 times. I will have to wait until Microsoft fixes their game or get my money back. Extremely disappointed.

In the sim my Saitex X52 Pro the Joystick axis’s X & Y are reversed. So select left Joystick X & Y for the control stick. It must be a bug!
This really is annoying and completely unacceptable by Microsoft. This is a constant issue. One minute working fine - the next? not recognised at all. Unplug, restart, recognise but no input. Just what is going on? over hundred quid you’ve had off of me - at least let me use well known, long standing peripherals.
