I needed a brake so I got the dust off FSX.
I thought “night-flight " will cover the graphics deficiencies.
All I need to do is have departure and landings “pay-ware” sceneries added and… Bob 's your uncle”!
So, out came LGIR as in departure and LGTS as arrival. The Aerosoft A320 after a cold start did a splendid job taking off with a magnificent view of Iraklion. Sat back thinking “this is nice… Maybe MS/Asobo should do this… I mean, get a copy of the Aerosoft A320 to study.
A slight interruption by cabin crew with " Here 's your coffee captain, Enjoy” I was in haven thinking that I should do it more often with this 16 year old program… Well… Plus a few add ons.
I was looking forward at seeing the old Thessaloniki again from the air in all its glory with the white tower, the red cranes at the docs and the majestic ruins of the Byzantine city walls up on the hills. Ohhh! and the umbrellas.
Entered the LEKPO STAR and I was just about starting to see the city lights glow on the horizon when…

I think you need more memory - in your PC and in your head because you have also forgotten how FSX works (or does not work).

msfs 2020: you did some mistakes- start from the scratch. the sim is not already on the level for such planes as A320 with full systems like autopilot, ils,atc and others. forget the airbus for a few weeks. remove your fingers from the system, don’t touch, change or get any access to sys files, remove mods and so on. start with a small plane and fly around jungle or outback, do some hops, learn the sim to understand his wonderful options like changing weather during flight without leaving the sim. you will see, you can spend many hours and many adventures, trust me.

I am assuming the OP wants FS2020 to have a feature that completely deletes all other sims from disks so that they cannot be launched by someone with insufficient memory.
In that case, I think he should start a wishlist thread so that I can upvote it.
All - Have FSX installed. Yesterday, got so XXXXX off at MSFS-2020, I took the icon off my taskbar, and played with FSX. Aftermarket Virtavia C-17GIII, from KCHA to KOFF; Hi-Level airways, AP worked flawlessly, plane worked flawlessly, route was made in Flight Planner (aka World Map in MSFS), ATC talks correctly, none of this o-n-e stuff. Real human voices which were encoded into the ATC system, lots of repetition voices, but, at least they talk correctly. The only little thing, is you cannot pick the runway and etc. for the approach like in MSFS. But not having one problem, not one, is worth 16 years old scenery, and the other little things which are not as nice as MSFS. I know how all the systems work, and how to program them, it’s not a learn this over this week, because something changed since the last update. My 3d Pro Joystick has the correct button assignments, and the sensitivity correct, and I can view, keyboard/mouse/joystick assignments all at one time, and create a button on the JS which mirrors one on the keyboard, and they do not fight each other in the sim. Oh I could go on and on about just not having issues. Won’t fly MSFS again till after the next patch late this month, just to darn frustrating with all the things broken in all the planes/systems for me. And aside from paying the 119.95 USD for it, the 2500.00 USD for the high end laptop to run it on, the 1TB SSD I got to back up MSFS things for, blah, blah, blah. I know others are leaving MSFS and going back to what they used before, because it’s not worth the frustration dealing with all the problems. Check out YouTube channel “Captain_Mac” he does a 787-10 video, and he mentions all the things which do not work, he has a great channel. He is currently doing a navigation course, he is excellent. Check it out. MS/Asobo, this has the “potential to be best on planet”, but in all due respect, you got a long way to go to get there. And my Laptop is almost TOP of the line in the hardware arena. so it’s not my hardware causing my issues. Even when everyone was having CTD’s I had only two, one was the VFR map thing. I don’t run out of memory 32GB system ram, 8GB Video Ram, 1TB SSD Boot drive/1TB SSD Backup drive, plus 8TB WD USB Drive. Nope, it’s my feeling, they are trying to reinvent the wheel all over again, instead of taking things that work, and putting them into the game. Sorry to be so long winded.
