Captain Sim releases 777ER for MSFS

I LITERALLY just got done flying a leg in P3D with PMDG’s 777-200ER. It’s an incredible aircraft. I cannot recommend their P3D v5 stuff enough… It needs to be experienced. WELL worth it.

Like I said, I LOVE MSFS and all it has to offer. But when it comes to flying airliners? I just can’t… not while having P3D literally LOADED with any study-level airliners I feel like flying. And I didn’t even get P3D until January of this year. I bought so many things for it since. I love it…

After flying this CaptainSim debacle in MSFS, I really needed to fly the real deal in P3D. It’s night and day.

If anyone has an airliner itch while we are waiting for good ones here and you have money to spend, I recommend doing what I did - just have P3D with great airliners and Orbx scenery and then have MSFS for other things. Best of both worlds.

well ill delete FSX from steam, that will make some room, so Ill get xplane for the rotate md11,and ini A300 and possibly the A310 and prepare for the 777 . I could wait for PMDG 777 for MSFS, but Im only reallly interested in freight dog work, passengers are a real pain in the butt, thats why i liked the capt sim cabin no self loading cargo,

TFDI is working on an MD-11 for P3D. Their Boeing 717 is awesome too.

This means no first or business class meals for you…

Agreed…but the devs are chasing the bucks…so if they can produce a product at minimum investment and gain maximum returns they will…hence garbage is available for the unwary or “basic” buyer. MSFS has attracted a huge audience to this hobby…of which there are gamers and simmers…both with different tastes and requirements…I am a simmer and therefore extremely selective and patient on the products that I invest in…but to others, they’ll buy anything as they are looking at this product from a different perspective that I am.

I asked for a refund and didn’t even buy it!

I think it is quite clear from CS’s Facebook comments that they are not even trying to blame the SDK. They mentioned that it would have taken them years to develop a full 777 for MSFS and that you are getting “100% of a $30” product.

What I take away from that is they wanted some quick, easy money. I don’t even consider this to be laziness - this is a pure cash grab with no consideration for what it will do to their reputation.

Well, at the end of the day, there’s nothing wrong with that. As long as everyone knows what they’re buying, it’s an informed opinion. I suppose there is a problem when people think that rushed out, half baked addons are the best this hobby offers.

Flew the CS 777 from Sydney to Gold Coast-on autopilot most of the flight but landed the plane manually.

Luckily I don’t use any 747 mods.

All hail the alpha.

CaptainSim releases Boeing 777 for MSFS

Try pasting these files into the folder of the 777, sounds will work then.

You don’t have a United 777. You have a 747 wearing a 777 jacket. It’s a 747 with different exterior model.

If you are happy with then, then cool, stop posting here telling others how to feel and go fly it.

Yeah no kidding They aren’t named Captain ■■■■ for nothing. Their stuff is a joke and I can’t believe (well in today’s world maybe nothing should surprise me) that people still waste their money on this terrible developer.

Just imagine the thrust it would have if it was

Not true, both aspect, game and sim, are half programmed (but unfortunatly, 2 half don’t give a complete product)

I uninstalled P3D and all my P3D addons well before FS2020 came out, because my install was broken. Last weekend i reinstalled everything. And here was my good ol’ A2A Bonanza, still with exactly the same level of fuel and oil i left it with, in exactly the state I left it in, with a worn engine cause i left it sit with old oil for well over a year. How’s that for saving plane state? What are the odds we’ll see it in FS2020?
