It’s interesting how they keep referring to their policy in their forums. Even if they were in the right common sense would benefit them tremendously. I just can’t understand why they are so stubborn.

Wow lmao. I think I’ve never heard of anything similar. I used to post my art on a website hosted by the software maker, pretty much giving them the right to use it and when they wanted to feature it for the product promo they still asked me for my allowance.

To everyone reading this: Please…if you have a Twitch, YT or whatever site where you interact with other simmers, PLEASE plaster your site with advice to stay far away from ANY CS product. This will be the ONLY way to rid our community of his petulance. He is trash from the word go…and I knew it would not be long before he found the huge MSFS community and started to prey on unsuspecting NEW simmers who never heard of this clown before.

Just a bit off-topic, but did somebody ever read their refund policy?
I was wondering if it was possible to refund earlier products. (I don’t want to do anything with CS anymore ever.)

This whole issue is being caused by absurd rules that Captain Sim was unable to explain why they exist and why they are enforced.

Of course, a CS justification wouldn’t make these rules look better, but at least it would expose the CS’s point of view. If they are enforcing a rule and don’t know why, it’s an indication that it shouldn’t exist.

CS has no forum admin…this IS CS…a one-man show now. Anyone who thinks this is a “company” with a bunch of dedicated coders, painters, modelers all focused on creating great addons…think again.
By all the info one can gather based on his purposeful act of concealing the company, Its ONE guy, either in the Ukraine or Russia, running the whole thing.
You wonder why there has been no progress on other projects or how nothing seems to be being done simultaneously as if there are a bunch of guys at CS…because there isn’t.
Just one scammer low-life preying on the new-found open waters of the MSFS community.
I sincerely hope the P3D simmers waiting for their 737 and 767 to be finished actually get it before this act of lunacy by him actually buries him and his “company”.

That doesn’t help anything and just creates trouble for Flightsim.to who are an innocent party in all this.

This doesn’t affect me on a personal level, but I still find their actions despicable to say the least. I likely wouldn’t have given them my money to start with, as it’s pretty universally accepted that their product is trash and a ripoff to start with. This blatant anti-consumer behaviour just seals the deal for me.

I REALLY hope MS don’t allow CaptainSim into the marketplace. If they do, we need to raise all kinds of hell with Microsobo, or it could set a very dangerous precedent. If they allow CS into the marketplace, then we could be flooded with low end, fly-by-night “devs” delivering garbage products.

I love our fellow simmers…slapping CS in the face at every turn…I’m sure this post will be deleted before any of you have a chance to see it…so I instinctively now screenshot them for all to enjoy AFTER CS deletes them…LOL

I am so enjoying the negative publicity this predatory dev is getting after all these years in the small vacuum of the TINY flightsim community that was FS2004, FSX, P3D all these years. This clown stepped up on the world stage and proceeded to bury himself in his own self-righteousness.
Keep it up guys…let’s drum this clown right off the stage!

The funny thing it’s that now only their liveries are without errors, the BAW livery sucks in the Tail Section, completly bad. Anyway, so bad for CS, hope PMDG hurry up to lauch their planes in MSFS

Not to mention their default livery, it is complete garbage all the way from FSX or p3d.

Basically what they are saying is that their rules make anything they want correct. So if my rules said I could kill people, according to them, that would make it legal.

My point was the legality issue involved. If there breaking some law and it’s some how affecting you, then sue them. You all do know that the 3rd party people that are creating the liveries for the CS 777 aren’t being forced to to create them…right? So if you or anyone else is a 3rd party painter then focus on other aircraft liveries instead. Or better yet,how about going to the CS Forums and lodging your complaints there? We’ve got enough endless complaining going on here already.

Actually, I know Air France still have planes with Old Livery, but a “new” lauch of this product with Old livery? really?? They stole mine version (luckily the v1.0, my first test with CS777) and basically in the description they put “1. FSX 4K with errors. 2. Wrong DDS format (2 times heavier). 3. Lost transparency of pax windows.”

They are so unprofessional. Even people with basic knowledge know the best would be to not answer and create a public statement saying they are sorry, etc. Answering in such a bad way just make things worst for them.

I’m just sad for the couple of employees who will lost their jobs, because of stupid people at the head of the company.
