Brief description of the issue:

Aircraft is in normal cruise on AP in NAV or HDG mode, no difference. It takes a sudden hard turn right and down, nose diving. This is while AP is engaged. AP does not disengage. A quick, manual, immediate correction will bring the plane back to normal cruise and AP will control the flight…until it happens again at a seemingly random time intervals. If missed however plane will crash. I did not notice adverse effects that would normally trigger AP to disengage for safety.

TBM 930 also experiencing the same behavior. I tried this at two different altitudes, two different parts of the world, no wind and with a little wind. Both times the plane would turn in on itself and tailspin into the ground for no discernable reason. I have flown this plane several hundred hours in sim and never had this problem with AP.

I have this problem too. The magenta flight director indicator clearly showed the autopilot trying to turn the plane into the ground.

I am usually in NAV mode and below 3000 ft when it happens. Half bank mode might not help (I think I had it engaged but I’m not sure).

I have the WT G1000 NXi installed if that makes any difference (ironically it appears to fix the broken FLC mode). I also noticed that I’m unable to turn the flight director off.

Community folder empty.

While I have never had the kamikaze issue your experiencing, I do have various issues with the AP from time to time as well. FD not turning off, Alt not turning off even with the rest of the AP is switched off. Just to name a few. Usually a restart of the game fixes it for me.
