Career generating filghts for airplanes from/to helipad. Here is Cessna 172 skydiving from Liberec hospital helipad LKLC

No mods

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: Plane Missions can load you into a helipad

[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? No

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

Just once.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Select mission (I think it was a plane relocation mission if I remember rightly)
When I loaded in it was like I was inside the building on the ground floor. I did the Skip to next step which is when I took the screenshot. I tried to skip again, but the mission ended with an error.

• Not exactly the same issue, but a water based arrival airport was generated instead of a land based for the mission, porbably the same rootcause. Occured only once so far.

ISSUE DESCRIPTION
During career mode ferry missions, Cessna aircraft are occasionally spawned on rooftop helipads, making mission completion impossible.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE
Occurs sporadically when accepting ferry missions involving Cessna aircraft.

REPRODUCTION STEPS
Accept a ferry mission involving a Cessna aircraft in career mode.
Check the initial spawn location of the aircraft.
Observe that the aircraft is incorrectly placed on a rooftop helipad.
YOUR SETTINGS
Add-ons/Mods: None.
Peripherals in Use: WinWing Orion2 HOTAS MAX, Orion Metal Rudder Pedals.
VR Headset: Oculus Quest 3 (using Link cable).
Developer Mode: Disabled.
Graphics API: DX12.

Bugged scenery from what I can see, looks like icebergs made of earth. Anyway my career mission thinks I can takeoff from the helipad, really?

  1. Flew a 100nm ferry mission for career mode in a C172, but didn’t know my arrival airport was a helipad. Couldn’t land (I tried haha) and failed the mission

  2. Selected a long ferry flight mission departing from KAOO, ending in Philadelphia, PA39 (Beaver Springs)

This just happened to me. Cargo mission in the cessna 172 from kdkx (Knoxville, TN) to SC08 in Charleston, SC. turns out sc08 is a children’s hospital and I’m pretty sure the kids dont need to see my plane hit their hospital trying to land on the helipad…

Can I just add too, some missions will generate a flight to land at a seaport even when you’re not flying a sea plane.

Description of the issue:

Cargo mission (E77 - AZ77) flying with C172 ends on Helipad destination !
This is not realistic and diverting to nearest local airfiled had impact on Career mode as Mission failed on wrong arguments !

same here, landed at P19 as alternative/divert airport but career mode got destroyed :frowning:
